The Curved Race and Crowd Pen is a safe, efficient and economical way to work cattle. It is designed to move the cattle smoothly and continuously from the Crowd Pen through to Curved Race and into the Pro-Chute, reducing stress on both animal and operator. With safety being a key factor in the design of the Curved Race and Crowd Pen, we have incorporated an elevated external walkway around the entire perimeter. This walkway keeps the operator out of harm’s way while still having full control over their animals.
The elevated external walkway also allows the operator to see ahead to the race and provides the ability for one person operation. The Curved Race & Crowd Pen consists of Hot Dipped Galvanized curved rubber lined panels which are designed to create the half circle.
A single gate pivots from an anchored centre post which is operated from the elevated Hot Dipped Galvanized walkway. When operating the swing gate, the safety latch locks at 300mm intervals. (Rotate gate manually or Hydraulic Driven).
It is recommended that the Curved Race and Crowd Pen be mounted on a concrete slab.
Fully Hot Dipped Galvanising
The Curved Race & Crowd Pen is fully assembled and then disassembled as part of the galvanizing process. All panels and frames are internal vented and are fully submersed, allowing the hot dipped galvanising to coat the inside and out of all SHS.
After this process the Curved Race & Crowd Pen is fully re-assembled again ready for dispatch. Australian Standard AS-NZS 4680.2006, Minimum of 600g/m2.
